New painting...finally!

This painting is one of my most recent. This was painted in honor and memory of a friend that passed away a few months ago from breast cancer. I was inspired to do this painting in memory of my friend, she is an inspiration!

Meet the newest addition to our family, Bella...she is 20 weeks old, and is a Sheltie-Jack Russell mix. We got her free the day before Easter! She is the best Easter present I could have! We love her so much!

I am working on some paintings....

Hello to you from me...
Today, I was really hoping to paint, and work on my paintings. I have much work to do regarding this! I have this blog to share my artwork on, as well as submit my artwork to the Holiday Mart committee at the Overland Park Convention Center. The dead line is already up, but they do consider other artists after the deadline, so I am trying really hard to get a lot of art made! It has been difficult lately to have the time to paint because of working 2 jobs and going to school school full time, it's worth it all though!

Anyway, hopefully my artwork will be displayed here really soon, in the next month! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! God bless you!

Spring time fun...

Hello again...
I am at work right now, with the little girls I work with, and we have been having a great time outside, and were talking about growing a garden together. A garden is a great Spring/Summer time activity with friends and family! I encourage it, grow your own vegtable, herb, and flower garden! Hope you are having a great day! God bless you!

This is Brad and I in Napa on our honeymoon, September 2006...I came across it just now. Such a joyous day for us! He is the love of my life! In this pic, we just arrived in Napa, just basically got off the plane in San Fran and drove to Napa on only a few hours of sleep after our Wedding Day. But we didn't care...yeah we were tired, but really didn't matter! Napa is such an amazing, serene, and beautiful place...and the wine, oh the wine!
